# Showing the email source

The email source contains the complete content of an email i.e., the complete email header data.

How to display the email source:

2. Click the <span class="guibutton">**More actions** </span> icon <span aria-hidden="true" class="inlinemediaobject" id="bkmrk-">![](https://lawless.cloud/appsuite/help/images/appsuite_user_icon_actions.png)</span> in the toolbar or in the detail view. Select <span class="guibutton">**View source**</span>.
    
    You can also use the context menu in the email list.
